Course ECOM

The English language has become a way of communicating throughout the modern world.

Computers have become a tool that is used not only as a new way of communicating but an essential part of our everyday working lives.

We have combined these two subjects to offer a course that meets the needs of those who will work in a society that is becoming more and more universal.

When you arrive at our centre in Reading on the Monday morning we will evaluate your English so that you can follow the class that is appropriate to your level. Your course will be based on communicating effectively- This includes conversation – grammar – and oral and written comprehension.

After lunch we will evaluate your computing knowledge and skills. Depending on your level and competence you may follow one of three –“Computer Literacy and Information Technology” courses (CLAIT courses)from beginner to advanced and, or, “Microsoft office specialist courses and qualifications” (MOS units) as well as “Diploma in Software development.” The level and type of course you will study will depend not only on your level but also your length of stay.

Extra work is required by the student in the evenings for the next day.

Please note: Because of the limited number of places available and popularity of our courses, booking must be confirmed at least 2 weeks before the course is due and start.

ICC can only accept confirmed bookings if the application form and 10% of the price of the course has been received and paid.

You will receive a receipt of your booking and an invoice for the remainder of the course fee due (your 10% confirmation fee will be deducted from this invoice) within 2 weeks. This must be paid on or before your arrival. No course can begin until the total has been paid.
