Summer school

Often we hear that the best way to speak a language fluently is to stay in the country and live like the inhabitants.

The "Summer School" has been created with this idea in mind - to allow the student to integrate into the everyday life in England, by helping him or her to appreciate the English way of life in all its aspects as well as increasing the level of communication.

In a group, where the level of English is the same, students communicate with other nationalities while acquiring the necessary language skills.

Then they must use these new skills in the world outside of the classroom. For this reason not all of the time is spent in class. Under close supervision, activities and excursions are organised to encourage the student to speak and to communicate with English people.

Individual, one to one lessons, can be organised for all, or some of the afternoons, at extra cost, if so required (please include on "Application form" adding the number of afternoons).

Minimum age 15

Length of stay : two weeks minimum

Group courses every morning from Monday to Friday (individual tuition the afternoon if required)

Organised activities every afternoon

Excursions at weekend

Full board and host family (Packed lunch)

Transfer to and from Heathrow airport

Please note: The afternoon individual lessons are by hour (one to three hours are possible per day Monday to Friday)

The price includes:

• Lessons,
• Full board in family (packed lunch )
• The transfer to and from Heathrow airport,

The price does not include:

• Insurance,
• The return air fare or other transport costs
• Personal expenses,
• The cost of visits at the weekend,
• Extra one to one lessons

Please note: Because of the limited number of place available and popularity of our courses, booking must be confirmed at least 2 weeks before the course is due and start.

ICC can only accept confirmed booking if the application form and 10% of the price of the course has been received and paid.

You will receive a receipt of your booking and an invoice for the remainder of the course fee due (your 10% confirmation fee will be deducted from this invoice) within 2 weeks. This must be paid on or before your arrival. No course can begin until the total has been paid.
